Members and visitors are asked to observe a good standard of dress
at all times. Unless otherwise indicated, below is a list of items which
are not permitted.
On the Golf Course
Gentlemen:
Denim jeans and jackets (blue/black), Track suits, Jogging suits, Combat
style trousers
Sleeved or sleeveless T-shirts or vests
Clothing with large slogans
Football or rugby shirts
Footwear not designed for golf
Long trousers tucked into socks
Shorts unless worn with predominantly white sports socks or plain long
socks. Please note, shorts must be tailored. Football or running shorts
are not allowed
¾ length trousers unless they are plus 2's or plus 4's
Shirts must not be worn outside of trousers or shorts
Ladies:
Denim jeans and jackets (blue/black), Track suits, Jogging suits, Combat
style trousers
Leggings
¾ length combat style or casual style trousers with zips, toggles
or ties (¾ length tailored trousers are acceptable)
Sleeved or sleeveless T-shirts or vests
Ladies shirts must not be worn outside of trousers, shorts or skirts
unless they are golf shirts specifically designed for that purpose
Footwear not designed for golf
In the Clubhouse
In the clubhouse the wearing of training shoes is allowed otherwise
the dress code for the course applies and in addition the following
are not permitted:
Any type of headwear (e.g. caps and visors)
Wearing of shoes without socks (Gents) and golf waterproofs/overclothing
Shorts must not be worn in the clubhouse after 7pm on Saturdays and
Sundays
Presentation Events
Members are reminded that a jacket and tie are required to be worn when
collecting a prize at all presentation events. For Junior members, the
minimum requirement is a shirt and tie.
Invited Guests
Members are reminded that the dress restrictions above also apply to
member's guests both on the course and in the clubhouse. It is the member's
responsibility to ensure that guests are appropriately attired at all
times (this includes families / guests eating Sunday lunch).
